How to Read Your Score Results
Our Naval Academy admissions calculator is meant to be used as a tool to help you determine your level of competitiveness. The score provided is an estimate and should be treated as such. We estimate that the percentile error is +/-2%.
This Naval Academy Admissions Calculator gives you a score out of 1000, as this is how USNA admissions calculate the Whole Person Multiple. The percentile provided is based on a study of USNA conducted by the Government Accountability Office and research from the Naval Postgraduate School.
The margins are fairly small to move up in admitted candidate rankings. The main aspects you can directly control (in a fairly short period of time) that improve your score include:
- SAT/ACT scores
- CFA score
Note the percentages below to strategically plan improvements.
The following chart shows that SAT/ACT Math/Science is the single most important factor to your admission. Focusing on improving that category, if able, will have the largest impact on your admission.
